Jack Russell (Jackie) is a small to medium-sized breed of dog that comes in either broken or solid white color. Jack Russells were first bred for hunting by Jack Russel hence the name Jack Russell, but can also be house dogs. Jack Russells are breeds native to Great Britain. They are commonly found in families with one child and other pets.

Jack Russells typically have brown eyes and short hair however puppies may have blue eyes until they mature. Jack Russells need lots of exercise so it's best to take them outside or let them play inside around the house so they tire themselves out faster than usual due to their high energy level during playtime. Jack Russells are not considered to be an apartment breed because they will become very anxious due to their high levels of energy leading them to destroy things in the home, bark excessively , and chip away at furniture. Jack Russells love people so it is best to get a Jack Russell if you have friends or kids who want a dog because Jack's are known for being loving with children.
