Golden Retrievers are the best!

They're great for kids, they're good with other pets, they love to play fetch—if you want a dog that's going to be your best friend and hang out with you all the time and still be chill with whatever else is going on in your life, you can't go wrong with a Golden.

My favorite thing about Goldens is probably their big, dopey smiles. You know what I'm talking about—that wide open mouth that looks a little bit like they're laughing at you? They look so happy all the time!

They're also very playful and energetic—when I was little my Golden would take me outside and play catch with me every day after school. It was awesome because he'd run around so much he'd get super tired by bedtime and let me fall asleep in his bed.
